The ‘National Monetisation Pipeline’ estimates monetisation potential of ₹6 lakh crore through the sale of Centre’s brownfield assets, like roads and railways, from FY 2022-25 through public-private partnerships. There will be a “mandatory hand back” of assets to the government after the due time. Fifteen railway stadiums, 25 airports and 160 coal mining projects will be up for monetisation.
